I am often asked the question, "What does Aldebaran mean?"  Aldebaran, pronounced Al-deb-a-ran, is the name of the brightest star in the Taurus Constellation. After reading that, I felt it was a beautiful symbol to represent how I wanted my clients to feel about themselves when leaving my office. My goal is to help my clients to discover what prevents them from achieving their desired goals through the Art of Hypnosis and to guide them to discover and use the power of their own mind to “reach for the stars” so to speak, and achieve their desired goals.

I am registered with the State of Washington Health Department, as a Certified Hypnotherapist #HP10001222.  I have a business license in Milton, Washington. I am a graduate of Tacoma Community College Hypnotherapy program taught by Mr. C. Roy Hunter.

After completing my initial training, I was proud to work in association with Roy Hunter at "Alliance Self-Empowerment Inc." at his former location in Federal Way, WA. In September of 2004, I opened "Aldebaran Hypnotherapy Clinic" in Milton, Washington. Just recently I moved into a larger facility in Milton to become part of an alliance of hypnotherapists associated with Roy Hunter.

I am a member of The National Guild of Hypnotists. In order to maintain my membership with the NGH I earn a total of 15 continuing education credits each year. I attend the National Guild of Hypnotists Convention each year in August on the East Coast, where I attend classes to further my Education on Hypnotherapy by attending presentations and workshops which are taught by some of the most recognized Hypnotherapists in the world.

I recently acquired my Certification for "Complimentary Medical Hypnosis." This certificate enables me to communicate with and assist physicians with patients who are having difficulty with issues which are preventing them from completing the program their physician wants them to follow.  For instance, a patient that must manage weight for health reasons may have emotional blocks preventing him/her from following the program…or a stroke victim cannot follow the program for rehabilitation because he/she is afraid for some unknown reason.

I am also a member of the Milton/Edgewood Chamber of Commerce. In order to best serve my community I believe it is important to be involved with my community and be informed and contribute toward the development of my community and what is best for the people who live here.

Some reasons why I became a Hypnotherapist and why I believe in its Power:

  • I suffered personally with depression, and spent years of counseling with no help before I learned first hand the power of hypnosis. I want to show you how to tap into your own power and be set free.
  •  I was sick for most of my life with an illness that was finally diagnosed as Fibromyalgia, and I am free from that debilitating illness to this day and always.  I want to guide you to that same freedom and control of your life just as I have.
  • I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder as an adult, and I've learned first hand how Hypnosis can help.
  • I know that anyone who wants to take control of their life and has the desire to use their own empowerment can be shown to a place of peace and true healing through the power of their own mind.  Because Hypnosis has worked for me, I now have the privilege to help guide others to gain back control of their lives as well.

I belong to one of the most recognized organizations for Hypnotists, the National Guild of Hypnotists, founded in 1951.  I am proud to be a member of this organization in good standing, which has been furthering the education of Hypnotists around the world. For more information on this wonderful organization you may reach them at http://www.ngh.net or email: ngh@ngh.net.

You may request info regarding hypnotherapy and/or a free consultation by email or by phone. Please note: due to an extremely busy schedule, you may need to request an appointment two or three weeks in advance.
